Black Pepper

Inside of a fruit from a flowering vine is Pepper! Washed briefly for cleanliness and to activate it's enzymes, the drupes are then dried until it darkens and ground. Originally native to South/Southeast Asia, this is grown in Tanzania and hand picked. This is one of the most important spices known to mankind for cooking and even medicinal use a long time ago. Organically grown and not genetically modified.
