This aromatic spice is grown on the inside of the bark of a tree. Ceylon Cinnamon is named after the area that is now known as Sri Lanka and considered to be the truest cinnamon. From the Ancient Egyptians to the Europeans of the Middle Ages, this was diversified in a number of ways for daily life. Cultivated in Tanzania and grown organically and not genetically modified.
